Yikes!
Still haven't had any time to do recreational sewing... I will be having family stay with me in early June - been spending lots of time getting things ready. My NEW roof was leaking and damaged the ceiling in the guest room - needed to repair, basement had water in it - clean that up, kitchen drain clogged - time to play plumber, garden needs prepping and plants to outside - whew lots of manual labor, lawnmower stopped running - going to the small engine shop.. I think that may be about it; Oh! how could I forget multiple projects for the theater company I work for and an emergency repair of a custom Elvis jumpsuit. Calgon take me away ( well maybe not... what would be here waiting for me when I got back?) Hoping to get back to sewing soon.

That’s a lot of work! I’m sure you can call someone to assist you, especially with your roof issues. Roof leakage should be fixed immediately, as it poses bigger problems if left unattended. It can weaken your roof foundation and can cause mold formation.

Chantay is right, Linda! As the old cliché says, “two heads are better than one.” Did you call someone for assistance? Because, you know, it’s better to have someone to assist you in doing all the repairs and taking care of all house issues. Those are not ordinary household issues, especially with regards to the roof leakage. To prevent further damage in the house, that leaky roof should be addressed immediately.

Wow, May had been a very busy month for you. You mentioned that your new roof was leaking. How come? Whatever the case may be, you have the right to call back your roofing contractor. And additional expenses were never a problem since I’m pretty sure it was still covered by the leak and labor warranty. How’s the roof now? Noreen Mayweather
ReplyDeleteYour roof is just new then? Have you been able to find out the root of the problem? Noreen is right. It’s good to hire a roofing specialist whenever you have a problem with your roof. He will give you an accurate solution as to whatever problem that your roof has, and it’s also a good opportunity for you to ask for some advice regarding roof maintenance and repair. So that the next time you come across the same problem, you already know what to do.

It seems the world has conspired to make you fix all things at once. :) I hope you were able to solve all of your problems by now, especially the one concerning your roof. If you haven't yet, I'm pretty sure you may have to replace your roofing altogether.
